MMS
The
GeoInvent uses the state of the art technology of spatial information. One of
them is the MMS (Mobile Mapping Technology System). The system is equipped with
6 cameras and two laser scanners that allow to capture not only the geo-referenced
photos but also point clouds registered by scanners. GeoInvent uses the system
for roads and streets net inventory to build roads databases according to
legally binding standards. The MMS measurements are alternative for standard land
surveying. Information provided by the MMS system is a rich and valuable source of
useful data not only for road asset management but also for local governments,
environmental protection departments, crisis centers, spatial development
departments and many other governing centers.
