Orthophotomap
An orthophotomap is a kind of a raster image map consisting of orthoimages, i.e. processed air photographs or satellite images which have been the subject of geometric correction during the orthorectification process. What links it to a standard map is a uniform scale for the entire area, as well as a specified cartographic projection and the connection with a coordinate system. An orthoimage usually consists of such elements as grip of coordinates, scale, etc. Additional elements of a vector map such as, for instance, a contour line, a road network, descriptions and other elements of spatial databases may be put on the orthophotomap.
