Topographic Objects Database

GeoInvent Company, in its offer, has a possibility of creating Topographic Data Base (TDB), which is a unified system for collecting, managing, and topographic data sharing across the country, functioning on the basis of the relevant legislation. This database is a natural continuation of the existing topographical studies, but uses a new methods of obtaining, processing and distribution of data and is now being embedded in the Polish Spatial Information Infrastructure.

By obtaining data for TDB, we organize them in a structure defined by the applicable technical guidelines.

Knowledge and experience of the team were used by GUGiK while developing technical standards for cartographic presentation.

Because the real possibilities of civilian geodetic and cartographic services, do not allow for the creation of short term base on the high level of information, there has been improved the other (limited) level of Topographic Data Base  (TDB2) with the following assumptions:

1. Reduction of the scope of information for the primary TDB database with the maintenance of the description of the site,

2. Consistency of the conceptual model with TDB in the full extent of detail of data collection methods, most of all based on office work,

3. Time and costs reduction to the 50 % level of the whole TDB.
